PROGRAMS
“Outgrowing The Pain” is a community-based adolescent program which addresses domestic violence, teen dating violence and the connection to other ills that prey on our community and further perpetuate the intergenerational cycles of violence and poverty in our community.
“Growing Pains” is a program for pregnant and/or parenting teens who are trying to pursue their educational and career goals. The program addresses the impact of past trauma and domestic violence on their decisions, and the effects on their children.
“Journey 4 Life With My Sistas” is a domestic violence and economic empowerment program for African American women and children. This program addresses emotional healing from past trauma, and domestic violence education, cultural identity, economic empowerment, and creative expression for women. In a parallel learning process, “Preparing Children 4 The Journey” addresses the same issues for children at an age and culturally appropriate level.
P.H.A.S.E.
“Peer HIV AIDS Sex Education” s a school based healthy relationships, pregnancy and HIV prevention education program held at The Met High School in collaboration with Brown University.

SERVICES
Counseling
Free individual and confidential counseling for females and males
Support Groups
Free home-based, school-based and community-based support groups for women who have been impacted by domestic violence and other issues of trauma
Advocacy
Advocates are available to assist victims with emotional support and accompaniment to court, police stations, hospitals, etc.
Outreach
We outreach to those underserved and so-called unreachable populations via street outreach, on the corners, on the bus, an individual’s homes, and anywhere we have the opportunity to provide informational and educational assistance. We also outreach to incarcerated/formerly incarcerated individuals.
Community Education
We are available to provide a series of workshops, single presentations, and/or in-service trainings to other organizations on Domestic Violence in the Workplace, and other issues identified by the organizations. All materials are age and culturally appropriate.
