“It wasn’t until I became aware of the social ills that plague our generation that I actually became invested in the future of our age. Working at Destiny House was nothing short of an eye-opening experience that resonates with me where ever I go. In this life, as Malcolm X says, ‘a man who stands for nothing will fall for anything’. Thanks to Destiny House, I now have something to stand for… It really has changed my life and the way I think about myself and my past… and, all I wanted was an internship.”
