Thank you for Visiting

Destiny House Welcomes You
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Destiny House is a Domestic Violence Agency for Adolescents, Pregnant & Parenting Teens, and Families.  Our mission is "to empower adolescents, pregnant and parenting teens, and families in communities of color to break the cycle of violence and poverty". Destiny House was founded in 1998 by Eleanor C. Brown-McSwain, a survivor of domestic violence herself. Destiny House has been an active organization in the Providence, RI community and continues to grow to this day.  Our ongoing goal is to address domestic violence specifically among minority groups and provide help and support to those affected by violence regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or age. We do not discriminate. Some people view our methodology as radical. We believe that our comprehensive and innovative methods have been successful in addressing the problems related to domestic violence in this community holistic manner.
